Chateau Leoville-Barton 2000 Saint Julien 2eme-Cru 2x75cl
Chateau Leoville-Barton is a 2nd Growth (2eme Cru) estate which lies within the iconic terroir of Saint Julien in the Médoc. It is now one of only two chateau's from the 1855 Classification of the Medoc that remains in the hands of the same family that owned it at the time it was classified. Chateau Leoville Barton is still the property of the Barton family today.
This wine is a typical Bordeaux-blend of 74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc; matured in oak barrels for a period of 16-18 months.
Please note that there shall be a shipping charge for 2 bottles applied to this lot.
These bottles appear to be in excellent condition: labels & foil/wax seals intact; cork/closures appear secure, no leakage.
It is not possible to ascertain colour of the contents of these bottles, yet appear to be of good clarity.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
