Torbreck "Descendant" 2004 Barossa 150cl

Torbreck are one of the iconic estates of the Australian wine industry.

Descendant is their Northern-Rhone style blend of Shiraz (92%) and Viognier (8%).  Unlike Torbreck's famous "RunRig" Shiraz-Viognier which has component varieties vinified and matured separately, Descendant is made from all grapes pressed, vinified and matured together.  100% of the wine is matured for 18 months in French Oak barrels formerly used for the maturation of previous vintages of RunRig.

Large-format bottles are great for extended ageing periods due to the wine's slower rate of maturation.

Please note there shall be a shipping charge equivalent to 2 bottles applied to this lot.

Important Notice

We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.

Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
