Château Haut-Batailley 1966 Pauillac 150cl
Château Haut-Batailley is one of two estates which were together - as Château Batailley - recognised as a 5th Growth (5eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc.
Large-format bottles are great for extended ageing periods due to the wine's slower rate of maturation. Indeed, this "Magnum" from the exceptional 1966 vintage, presents a fantastic opportunity to potentially taste a good old Bordeaux.
Please note there shall be a shipping charge for 2 bottles applied to this lot.
This bottle is in excellent condition: label & foil/wax seal intact; cork/closure secure, no leakage.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
