Chateau Rayas 'Pignan' 1990 Chateauneuf-Du-Pape

Chateauneuf-Du-Pape is one of France's iconic appellations.  Located in the Southern Rhône Valley, the appellation is most commonly known for its Grenache-dominant red wines.

Chateau Rayas is one of the leading estates of Chateauneuf-Du-Pape.  Unlike most estates, their wine is 100% Grenache, matured in huge old oak vats for approximately 16 months prior to bottling.

Pignan, made with grapes from the north of the appellation, is their incredible 2nd wine.

Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
