Merlot dominant blend from the right-bank Bordeaux satellite appellation of Canon-Fronsac.

Château La Croix-Canon is owned by the famous JP Moueix of Château Pétrus in Pomerol; Their vineyards are planted with approximately 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon.
