Located in the iconic appellation of Margaux, just north of the city of Bordeaux, Château Du Tertre was recognised as a 5th Growth (5eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc.
The wine is generally a fairly even blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with smaller proportions of Cabernet Franc; matured for approximately 18 months in oak barrels.
