Chateau Haut-Brion 1996 Graves 1er-Cru 12x75cl / OWC
From the appellation of Graves, Chateau Haut Brion is one of the great Bordeaux wine estates, listed as one of only five 1st Growth (1er-Cru) in the famed 1855 Classification of Medoc- although Haut Brion is located in Graves (not the Medoc), such was and is its quality that the Chateau merits inclusion.
The wines of Chateau Haut Brion feature varying compositions of approximately 40-50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35-45% Merlot, with Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot; matured in oak barrels (80% new) for 18-22 months.
These 12 bottles - from the exceptional 1996 vintage - are complete with their original wooden case.
This wine is sold in-bond. Please read our In-Bond Wine Buying Guide prior to bidding.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
