"Les Forts De Latour" is the second wine of the 1st-Growth (1er-Cru) Pauillac estate, Chateau Latour.
Compared to the "Grand Vin", Les Forts De Latour features a higher proportion of Merlot (25-30%) in the Cabernet Sauvignon dominant blend, and is matured in a lower proportion of new oak (50-60%) barrels.
