Chateau Lynch-Bages 1995 Pauillac
Chateau Lynch-Bages is a 5th Growth (5eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc. Typically a classic Bordeaux-blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, matured in oak barrels for a period of 12 months.
Large-format bottles are great for extended ageing periods due to the wine's slower rate of maturation. Indeed, this "Magnum" presents a fantastic opportunity to potentially taste a good old Bordeaux.
Please note there shall be a shipping charge for 2 bottles applied to this lot.
This bottle is in good condition: light cosmetic damage to label; seal intact; cork/closure secure, no leakage. While the label damage has removed the main vintage declaration, this is confirmed by the code at the lower-right corner "L 01 95".
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit or otherwise spoilage of contents.
