Stag's Leap "SLV" Cabernet Sauvignon 2011 Napa
From the Stag's Leap District in Napa Valley, Stag's Leap Wine Cellars is one of California's great iconic wineries. The winery came first to international attention and acclaim when its 1973 Cabernet Sauvignon was ranked in 1st place by leading French wine experts following a blind tasting of top French and Californian wines - The Judgement Of Paris.
"S.L.V." is named for the estate's famous vineyard "Stag's Leap Vineyard" (from which the Stag's Leap District AVA takes its name) and, naturally, takes its grapes exclusively from this single vineyard.
This 2011 vintage is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, matured for 20 months in French oak barrels (100% new oak).
This bottle is in excellent condition: label & foil/wax seal intact; cork/closure secure, no leakage.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit or otherwise spoilage of contents.
