From the Pauillac appellation, Château Batailley was recognised as a 5th Growth (5eme Cru) estate in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc.

Classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend; Matured in French Oak barrels for approximately 16 months.
