From the Pauillac appellation and ranked as one of the original four 1st Growths (1er-Cru) in the famed 1855 Classification of Medoc, Chateau Lafite-Rothschild is one of the great Bordeaux wine estates.
Carruades De Lafite is the legendary second-wine from Chateau Lafite-Rothschild, with grapes selected from neighbouring vineyards.
Classic Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, left-bank Bordeaux-blend; 80% of the wine is matured for 18 to 20 months in oak barrels prior to final blending.
