Fiano is a grape that is primarily cultivated in southern Italy and is well-suited to the warm, coastal climate of the Campania region, where it has been grown for centuries. It is also grown in Sicily where it is made into varietal wines and it is a permitted grape in the blend of Martina Franca DOC in Puglia.

Other significant plantings of the grape include the McLaren Vale sub-region of South Australia, with some smaller cultivation in the United States as well.
